I'm Tessa Skeens, principal designer at HR Design.

 

After enjoying a long career as an advertising and publishing art director, I decided to pursue a true passion - interior styling and design!

 

A life long fascination with everything related to properties; real estate and interior design, convinced me to start a business I'd be super excited about. My business, Hampton Redesign (HR Design) was my answer to getting laid off in 2008 and I've never looked back!

 

I love helping my clients learn how to decode their home's purpose. I mentally redesign every space I walk into; seeking a perfect blend of design harmony and comfort. I'm one of those who never get tired of looking at homes and property. It lights me up!

Hiring me, means you're getting 20+ years of design, marketing and real estate savvy. I'm also a bit of a nerd and know my way around tech. I pride myself on being accountable, responsible and highly organized. I don't believe in missing deadlines. I'm also very passionate about creating good communication and a trusting working relationship with all my clients. Be assured, you'll have my focused attention.

 

After stepping away from my business for a couple of years to travel and write a book, I'm happy to be back in the design saddle.​
